Whatever be your skin type, every girl wants glowing skin. Here are a few easy and effective homemade masks to get there…

1. Clay face mask for oily skin

What you need:

  • 2 tablespoons of Fuller’s earth (multani mitti)
  • 2 drops of tea tree oil
  • ½ teaspoon of lime juice
  • Water, as required

How do you make it?
Combine the lime juice into the Fuller’s earth and mix it thoroughly so that it forms a thick paste. Add water, as required to make the consistency thinner. Then add 2 drops of tea tree oil into the mask preparation and apply it to your face and neck. Leave it for 20 minutes and wash it off thoroughly.

What good is it?
Fuller’s Earth works as a clay which goes deep into your pores to suck out any impurities and excess sebum. Lime juice contains large amounts of vitamin C, which aids in ridding dead skin cells and brightening the skin. When added with the antimicrobial and antiseptic powers of tea tree oil, this mask will replace any oiliness from your face with nothing but radiance.

2. Strawberry face mask for acne-prone, blemished skin

What you need:

  • White of 1 egg, beaten until foamy
  • ½ cup of finely sliced strawberries
  • 1 teaspoon of honey
  • ½ teaspoon of lime juice

How do you make it?
Combine the liquid elements of the egg white, honey and lime juice together in one container. Then add the strawberries and mix together until it forms a paste. Apply it on your face and after leaving it on your face for 15 minutes, wash it off with cold water.

The astringent properties of lime juice fade blemishes while egg whites curb oiliness to prevent flare-ups in the future.
